Anti-AI Policy

Last Updated: June 1, 2026

From Page One LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website frompage.one (the “site”). This Anti-AI Policy describes our editorial stance and ethical standard for operating within the publishing industry in the advent of generative artificial intelligence software.

Our Standard

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has no place in the editor-writer relationship. We firmly believe that editorial evaluation is a crucial part of every author’s journey and the only way to preserve trust is to exclude the influence of AI from assessment, analysis, commentary, and manuscript recommendations.

1. No AI-assisted edits.

At no point will we use AI to evaluate or formulate any editorial opinions.

Not in free samples.

Not in our client work.

Our lead editor is Amanda Ascencio who reviews all submissions, reads, and generates comments drawn from her work experience and professional opinion.

We include an anti-AI contract clause in every editorial project which prohibits all usages of the software in the editorial process.

While we do not condone or support the use of tools which “check” for AI-generated text, we reserve the right to cancel contracts in the event of credible evidence pointing to the use of AI-generated passages.

The decision of whether or not to use generative AI software to assist in the planning or drafting of a book should be a clear one.

We reserve the right to revoke editorial credit in the event of clients electing to use AI-generated art in the marketing of their project

2. No AI-generated books.

3. No pro-AI partners.

In the event that we have unknowingly shared AI-generated content (art, books, content, or anything else), we will immediately take the following steps:

  • Remove the item from our online spaces, including social media

  • Notify the associated parties

  • Recommend our partners immediately cease use of AI.

We will not promote or partner with any person or company who publicly advocates for AI in creative spaces.

Any potential clients or partners who fail to agree with our Anti-AI policy risk contract cancellation without refund.
